Welcome to Delicious Destinations! In this video, we're making a delicious and easy one-pot recipe: Flavorful Rice with Meat and Veggies. This hearty and nutritious meal is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a satisfying lunch.
📌 Ingredients:
• Parboiled Rice 200 g
• Chicken breast/thighs 400-500 g
• 1 bell pepper
• 1 red pepper
• 1 - 2 carrots
• 1 - 2 onion
• 4 - 5 cloves of garlic
• Milk 250 ml
• Water 300 - 350 ml
• Condiments (I used: curry, dried onion, dried garlic, paprika, pepper, salt)
• Oil
Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish
📌 Instructions:
1. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces and the vegetables into cubes.
2. In a large pot over medium heat, fry the meat until it's nicely browned.
3. Remove the meat from the pot and set it aside.
4. Add the cubed vegetables to the pot and fry until they begin to soften.
5. Stir in the dry spices and cook for another minute to release their flavors.
6. Pour in the milk, stirring well to combine.
7. Return the browned meat to the pot and add the rice, mixing thoroughly.
8. Season with salt to taste.
9. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients.
10. Serve hot and enjoy!
11. Cover the pot and let it cook over medium heat until the rice is tender and fully cooked.
