This week , we are MAKING IT HAPPEN with a $75 meal plan that will easily feed even a large family all week long!
I am so excited to share the recipes with you, but first, let's talk about the grocery list and the costs of the food items we need to buy.
I did purchase all the things I used in this meal plan at walmart, unless I had them in my pantry. We will talk soon about getting our pantries stocked and ready for frugal meal planning and execution, but for now, I just wanted to be sure to let you know that there were a few items that I had on hand that I didn’t need to buy. I will list them here so that you will know how much I used and how much those ingredients cost for this meal plan (meaning—I didn’t add the cost of an entire bag of flour because I only used a few cups…)

Staple items used this week:
1 Cup Sugar ($0.22)
3 TBS molasses ($0.59)
1 C olive oil ($1.76)
3 C flour ($0.36)
Salt ($0.15)
Pepper ($0.15)
So, the total cost of the “staple” items comes to $3.23.

The rest of the groceries and the cost for each was:
10 lb bag Chicken Leg Quarters ($6.72)
1 Pkg Keilbassa Sausage ($3.47)
Sliced Country Ham ($9.66)
2 lbs Breakfast Sausage ($4.64)
2 Pkg Frozen Brussel Sprouts ($2.76)
2 Pkg. Frozen Broccoli ($1.76)
1 Pkg Frozen Sweet Peas ($0.88)
1 Pkg. frozen green beans ($0.88)
32 oz Half & Half ($2.78)
8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Block ($2.00)
16 oz Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese ($3.68)
5 oz Parmesan Wedge ($2.88)
8 oz Cream cheese ($1.68)
5 lb bag Grits ($3.58)
2 Cans Green Beans ($1.16)
2 Cans Diced Tomatoes ($1.76)
5 lb potatoes ($3.77)
1 Bunch Bananas ($1.50)
1 Bunch Celery ($1.74)
3 lb Onions ($2.00)
2 lb Carrots ($2.44)
1 Bell Pepper ($0.82)
1 Pkg. Mushrooms ($1.68)
1 Zucchini ($0.75)
1 Head Garlic ($0.62)
1 Head Cabbage ($1.01)
1 lb Navy Beans ($1.28)
2 pkg pasta ($0.55)
2 lb Rice ($1.62)
1 Italian Seasoning ($1.00)

Which Brings the Grand Total of all ingredients to $74.30!!!!!!

And you are going to be AMAZED at what we can do with $75 worth of groceries this week!!
