Ingredients

1 cups all purpose flour (maida)
1/3 cup cocoa powder
½ cup water
4 tbsp curd or yogurt
1 tbsp water
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp lime juice
¼ tsp vanilla essence
¾ cups powdered sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ cup melted butter
50 g raisins (optional)

Instructions:
Step 1:
Take maida and mix with baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder & salt and set aside. Powder the sugar in a mixer, melt the butter room temperature or by any other means. Then take a large bowl, add butter, sugar, curd and mix. When both the ingredients are mixed well, add vanilla essence, lime juice & raisins, beat till all the ingredients are well mixed. Make sure that there are no lumps.

Step 2:
Now preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, prepare the baking pan.

Step 3:
Now pour the batter on the pans such that they are 2/3rd full and place them in the central rack of the oven. Bake at the same temperature for 25 to 30 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
