An easy homemade teriyaki sauce recipe made from pantry staples. I like my sauce bold and thick bcoz its great with marinade or as a sauce served with my favorite fish and meat.
Ingredients
1 cup water
5 tablespoons packed brown sugar or less
2 tbsp molasses if you don't wanna use more sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp sake or mirin as substitute
tablespoons mirin
1 large clove of garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
for the rest of Ingredients:
chicken boneless
broccoli
carrots
mushrooms
asparagus
but you're welcome to use any meat and type of vegetables to your liking.
