Japanese Michelin-starred chef Kimura-san shares his perspective of Singapore. We had a chat over an omakase meal at his new restaurant, Shin Yasuke. Kimura-san lives in Singapore for 15 years - what does he like and not like about living in Singapore? What is it like running several Japanese restaurants in Singapore?
The sushi at Shin Yasuke was personally amazing. The core ingredients (most fish, wasabi, seaweed) used are the same as at Michelin One-starred Sushi Kimura. It's a great deal considering the quality. Highly recommended.
