These recipes come from an old local Scottish church cookbook. In this video you will find a delicious bacon and egg pie, the best beef stew I have ever made and a lovely chocolate fudge pudding.
They are all very simple recipes that I have selected from the 1970's church cookbook and they are all created by local people. The church is Strathbogie Church which still holds a Sunday service every week by the Church of Scotland.
The cookbook would have originally been put together by the local congregation and sold to raise funds for the church or some other local purpose.
