Day 4 of my 12 Days of Dollar Tree Christmas Desserts 🎄✨
Today we’re making Cookies & Cream Cookies, a dense, fudgy chocolate cookie packed to the brim with Dollar Tree mix-ins: chopped Hershey’s Cookies & Cream bars, chocolate chips, Oreo pieces, and melty marshmallows. The ultimate budget-friendly holiday cookie!
INGREDIENTS: • 1 box chocolate cake mix • 2 eggs or 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce • Just under 1/2 cup oil (7 tablespoons) • Hershey’s Cookies & Cream bars, chopped • Chocolate chips • Oreo cookies, chopped • Mini marshmallows
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, applesauce or eggs, and oil until a thick dough forms.
Fold in all your chopped mix-ins, the more texture, the better!
Chill the dough for 1 to 2 hours (or overnight) so the cookies bake up thick and fudgy.
Scoop onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers stay soft and gooey.
Let cool slightly (the marshmallow pockets are chef’s kiss) and enjoy!
